There has been a cold, wet and slow start to spring this year with lawns not starting to grow as fast as usual throughout April. Although nature always has a way of catching up and lawn growth will quickly accelerate and frequent mowing will be required to keep your lawn in top condition.
This morning the met office announced:
“The coming summer is expected to be a ‘typical British summer’, according to long-range forecasts” - Met Office
This will lead to some beautiful lawn throughout the UK, with no adverse drought conditions to hinder the traditional lawn. Our advice is to feed well with a lawn fertiliser, mow regularly and enjoy your lawn.
