The delivery was a complete nightmare as the driver did not stop moaning from start to finish he complained about the street and the fact that he should not have had it on the lorry as the pump truck would not lift it."

"This review covers two orders I placed. The first was very much 5 star. Excellent product, great quality (each roll was at least 4cm thick, with a plastic webbing that significantly assisted handling, lifting and placement) , very easy to lay. So good in fact, we placed an order for the same, just half the quantity. The second order was 2 star. Poorer quality, 2 cm thick, multiple rolls had tears. Customer Services help was to offer assistance if it didn't grow. Overwhelmed with Order 1, Underwhelmed with Order 2. 3 Star rating is averaged..........................but I would use again."

He only knew the delivery was being made as he heard a truck stop outside the house and start unloading - no prior call from the driver, and no knowledge he was here otherwise. Apart from that slight let-down, the turvs great (though one roll was slightly torn from the pallet). It's brightened our garden for these darker months."

"Absolutely great quality grass and it came really fresh and well packaged. No damaged pieces at all . The only problem I had , which has resulted in me probably not using your company again, was the delivery issues. I was provided with a 9am -11am time slot. And although I can assume that this is a rough estimation.... 3 phone calls from myself later and by 2pm my grass had still not been delivered. I would also advise that because your drivers are customer facing, you need to ensure that they are able to speak English. I was unable to communicate with the driver and he was unable to answer any of my questions due to not being able to understand me . This was extremely frustrating having already faced the delivery issues . So great quality grass, poor quality delivery and service."

I paid for a pm delivery and rang the day before to request a call when the delivery was on its way to make sure I would be there, however no call was received. We had an issue with some of the turf in as much as it had to be taken from two fields and there was a difference in quality in some of the rolls. We bought over 200 rolls and are pleased after a few days how the lawn is looking. The driver/s were also very good placing the pallets at the end of our drive where we ideally required them. Sadly it was let down by the delivery company, no fault of BuyTurf.co.uk. The local pallet company, David Hathaway, were a shambles. Selected delivery between 8am and 1pm, at 2pm phoned to see where the delivery was, was told it would be with me by 3pm. Eventually arrived at 4:15pm, the driver described his office as being in a 'big mess'. BuyTurf, please don't use this company, they really detract from the service you provide!"

Delivery was very late in the day (5:45) and despite being assured that the driver would call when he was on his way (it was at a rental house so I wasn't there) this didn't happen.
